WSS DTLA Grand Opening
WSS hosted an exclusive event to celebrate its 30th anniversary and the grand opening of its flagship retail store in Downtown LA.
WSS hosted an exclusive event to celebrate its 30th anniversary and the grand opening of its flagship store located on 7th and Union in Downtown Los Angeles. In an effort to contribute to a neighborhood in transition, over $3M was invested in restoring the historic building. The event featured “View #23 Steps to Immortality”, WSS’ unique curation of original, mint condition Air Jordans 1 through 23. Guests were also treated to a gallery featuring one-of-a-kind shoes designed by leading and emerging LA artists set to the landscape of music, b-boy performances, beverages and appetizers.
We were commissioned to provide music and local marketing to our VIP network of DTLA tastemakers, sneaker-heads and influencers. We set up a custom RSVP microsite, sent out an e-mail and received over 200 registered guests within 24 hours.
